I think after your moisturizer, but I’m not sure. You can always go to a dermatologist who can give you the best advice, because acne isn’t easily cured with cream only. I know some friends who went to the dermatologist for their acne and their skin improved a lot. The dermatologist can give you more individualized advice. Good Luck!

i know you do cleanser then toner, but if you use like an acne cream like differin or duac, should that be before the mosturizer after the toner or what?

benzoyl is good as a disinfectant it doesn’t neccesarly dry it out if used on breakouts and in moderation. just saying.

It’s actually Benzoyl Peroxide that’s in Proactive. It is a bleaching agent so it can severely dry out skin. Salicylic acid is more of an exfoliant and it strips away a thin layer of the upper epidermis so that it can remove dead skin cells and excess bacteria.
All products sold on t.v. has it’s own alternative or dupe if you take the extra effort to research it.

ok then. i have started using a cleanser and facial moisturizer and its made my skin a bit better , still get a few spots though. so i will try the tner out too. thx

yes i know! but it becomes a habit if you do it twice a day :). and my skin really looks better since i take better care for it (i tend to have very dry skin) because i used to have lot of breakouts etc. in the past but now i can really see the results :)! if you have a pretty good skin, you don’t have to bother al that

Cleanser and toner are two different things but you always have to use them together: the cleanser removes most of the dirt or make-up and after that you should use the toner to really remove all the dirt or make-up residue that the cleanser couldn’t remove. And after toner you can apply a moisterizer and you’re done !

Weird.. we have the same bed.. also products.. From a long thme I used Olay moisurizer lotion but i can’t it anymore in Holland..

is cleaner and toner same thing ?

The effective ingredient in Proactive and other acne face washes is Salicylic acid, so if you want to save money check the content of the cheapest face wash and see if it contains Salicylic acid .
Remember to leave it on for at least 2 minutes to be absorbed, otherwise ur wasting your money.

same with me……my dermatologist said it doesnt work so well because the bacteria can easily get used to it because there is only 1 acne fighting medicine in there!
